There are many magnificent National Trust properties in South Devon, including Overbecks, Dartmouth Castle and Saltram House to name but a few. The famous Burgh Island with its tidal causeway is only one mile from the bungalows.
Challaborough is ideally positioned for keen golfers. There are two excellent

Challaborough Bay itself has a sheltered award winning sandy beach. Bathing is safe, with lifeguards on duty from late May to September, and there are rock pools for the children. The bay and surrounding area are a haven for watersport enthusiasts, being ideal for surfing, windsurfing, diving and fishing. The bungalows are only 250 yards from Challaborough beach.
During your stay there is no need to worry about cooking for the family because there are three local pubs, providing good bar meals and an Excellent Fish and Chip shop on site.
